Hi, it’s Lisa- I’m an officiant and I’ve planned hundreds of Colorado elopements & micro weddings.

I officiate our ceremonies, plus I oversee our packages with mountain location and photography so that our couples have the simplest, easiest day.

What An Elopement & Micro Wedding Planner Does

I’ve been planning Colorado mountain elopements and micro weddings since 2013 - working with hundreds of beautiful, soulful couples for more than a decade now.

I coordinate your mountain location, photographer and ceremony, and I have an extensive network of wonderful vendors for additional services like hair/makeup, flowers, video and more. I also know every single little aspect of eloping, and will guide you through the entire process so you’re never wondering what to do or how it all will happen.

A Team To Keep You Stress-Free

We think of ourselves as you elopement friends in Colorado. We organize your day and are on tap via text, email and phone to answer every question. Lean back, relax and be guided!

Mountain Location, Photography, Planning and…

Officiant Lisa facilitates a ceremony on an alpine lake dock while the bride and groom look deeply into each other's eyes.

Our packages bring what most packages don’t:

AMAZING CEREMONY

Most packages focus on photography, but treat the ceremony as an afterthought.

However, as an officiant I know that an amazing ceremony is the key to your day.

When you’re facilitated to remember how much you love each other, feel your connection and be fully present as you make vows and exchange rings - those are the moments that make your day unforgettable.

Our locations are breathtaking, our photography is gorgeous AND Our ceremonies are beautifully-planned, highly personal and deeply meaningful.

How We Guide You Each Step Of The Way

A bride and groom raise their hands in triumph as their elopement ceremony completes, while a small group of guests cheer with a sunset mountain backdrop.

How To Know If You Need A Planner

(Whether it’s just you two or you’re bringing guests)

Cara & Chris chose us as their planner because they wanted to relax and focus on their love, rather than on logistics.

You Need An Elopement Or Micro Wedding Planner If One Or More Is True…

  • You want a team that knows what they’re doing, knows you well and really truly cares.

  • You want to skip the overwhelm of figuring all this out on your own.

  • You don’t want to worry you’re missing key things.

  • You want to relax on your day, feeling confident about how it will roll out.

  • You want an expert on call any time you have a question.

  • You want to know you’re getting the right answers, not just internet advice.

  • You want the tips, tricks, guidance & referrals that only a local expert can bring.

Emma & Aidan had us guide their fall micro wedding with 26 guests because they experienced guidance and advice along the way.

You May Not Need A Planner If…

  • Your vision is SO simple - like you’re just getting your license at the county clerk, signing it and taking a few selfies.

  • You already feel confident about location logistics, ceremony logistics, plus how to roll out an elopement day.

  • You want to save as much money as possible, so it’s worth it to you to take on the role of researching and overseeing everything yourself.

How To Choose The Right Planner For You

McClay & Tommy thought we’d be a match when they read my website, then knew for sure when we hopped on the phone and had the best time.

Verify Expertise

First research expertise - look for reviews and photos that show work with lots of couples, plus see if there’s word of mouth online, like on Reddit threads. Once you’ve narrowed down to one or a few candidates, hop on a live call to experience their expertise first-hand.

Personality Match

Notice whose websites you love to visit, and whose “vibe” you’re drawn to. It’s SO important to enjoy the person or team that’s guiding you. This is another reason to hop on a call to connect - so you can see if they’re a personality match for you!

QUICK REFERENCE FAQ’S

  • What’s the difference between an elopement and a micro wedding?

    • Lol, it’s a vague distinction and depends who you’re talking to. If you’re talking to me, an elopement is just the two of you or the two of you with up to 10 guests. A micro wedding is you plus 15 or more guests. A group with 10 - 15 guests is sort of a grey area ;)

  • What does an elopement / micro wedding planner do?

Planners help with oversight of the entire process from now through the day-of, with expert knowledge about every logistic, vendor coordination and ensuring the process unfolds smoothly the entire way through.

  • Do I need an elopement / micro wedding planner?

You need an elopement or micro wedding planner if you don’t want to oversee the logistics yourself, or if you want to focus 100% on your love and connection on the day-of, rather than on facilitating the elopement.

  • What’s the difference between an elopement / mirco wedding planner and a traditional wedding planner?

Elopement and micro wedding planners are a subset of wedding planners, essentially doing the same job but on a smaller, simpler scale for elopements.

  • Can an officiant also help plan an elopement or micro wedding?

Yes, I am a good example of this! Planners and photographers are the most common to have packages with planning included, and some officiants, like myself, are expert planners too.

  • How do you choose the right planner for an elopement or micro wedding?

To choose the right planner for your elopement or micro wedding, combine research confirming extensive experience and expertise, along with a call to connect to see if there’s a personality match with you and your fiancé.

  • Do planners help with locations and permits?

Yes, planners help secure locations and permits for elopements and micro weddings, plus like my team, they often already hold the permits needed for their recommended locations.

  • Can a planner help with a small family elopement?

Yes, the oversight, guidance and logistical help of an elopement or micro wedding planner is especially helpful with family elopements because small group elopements are more complex than simple “just the couple” elopements.

  • How much does an elopement / micro wedding planner cost?

The cost of an elopement / micro wedding planner can range from $500 to $2,000, depending on the amount of help provided. Typically this amount is woven into a package.

  • What should be included in a package?

Elopement and micro wedding packages should include photography, guidance for or facilitation of the ceremony and help with securing location, plus expert knowledge of your location. More complex packages include add-on flowers, hair & makeup, cake and other services.

  • Can you plan it yourself?

Yes, you can plan an elopement or micro wedding yourself. AND you will likely seek guidance, if not by hiring a planner, then at least by doing extensive research on the internet.

  • What’s the biggest mistake couples make when planning?

The biggest mistake couples make when planning an elopement or micro wedding is to focus so much on photography that they forget to make an intentional, thoughtful plan for their ceremony.

  • Why do couples choose elopements and micro weddings over traditional weddings?

Couples choose elopements and micro weddings over traditional weddings to have an experience that is focused on their connection rather than complex logistics, and to have a more intimate experience than with a traditional wedding.
