You can tell from their photos that Krista and Kris know how to have a good time. And there’s no better backdrop than Moraine Park Amphitheater right in the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park.
These two brought an intimate group of family with them to celebrate their wedding day, and they truly let themselves feel all the joy.
We created a beautiful ceremony for them, facilitated by one of our team officiants - Officiant Stephen. These two used our Vow Adventure Kit to write their own deeply meaningful vows, plus they had different guests bring up important items for their ceremony throughout.
Moraine Park Amphitheater is an amazing spot for a micro wedding in itself, plus we love the nearby opportunities for romantic photos of just the couple in Moraine Valley. I’ll share a few of those first because, well, I just can’t wait to share them, and then you can see the photo story of their day with their family…
The amphitheater is nestled next to a parking lot surrounded by mountains, plus it’s a great place to start your processional walk. Here come Krista with her dad and her son to walk her down the aisle.
They also had the good fortune to have a gentle deer on hand. She wasn’t paying much attention to the ceremony, but we’ll take her presence as a blessing on the day ;)
Stephen started the ceremony with a meaningful reading and the sun beginning to set low in the sky, then it wasn’t too long before the laughter and fun began.
Krista and Kris read heartfelt vows written from scratch and had a blast getting married. The end of the ceremony was like a mini rock concert when their relatives and friends “rushed” the stage to hug and congratulate them!
Our photographer took lots more family photos, then when it was time to sign the marriage license, Krista’s son was the witness. What could possibly make your marriage more official than your own son signing your marriage license? :)
