Harley & Michael’s late-Fall micro wedding included a simple afternoon ceremony with just the two of them and some lovely decor on stage, plus they brought their two daughters and their closest family to celebrate with them.

Simple Side Trail Processional
There are three processional paths into the amphitheater - Harley & Michael chose the trail around the side of the amphitheater that is a combo of dirt trail, then a short section of stairs. Michael walked on his own, then Harley with her father.
Stage Decor
You can’t have an arch or any kind of big structures at the amphitheater, but Harley & Michael did want decor, so they chose beautiful feathery fall decor in vases.
Texas Marriage License
Interestingly, Texas seems to be fine with their marriage licenses being signed in Colorado, and I’ve signed several of them with Texas couples over the years, just like Team Officiant Stephen did here for Harley & Michael. I always tell couples to double-check with their issuing office though, as I’ve always wondered if only certain offices are okay with it and am also aware that requirements for signing can change.
Subtle Fall Colors
The amphitheater is in a forest of pine trees which don’t change color in the fall, but there are some bushes that are deciduous and you can see their subtle pops of color in Harley & Michael’s photos behind the amphitheater after their ceremony.
Family Photos
As always, Sunrise Amphitheater is the perfect setting for tons of family photos. I included a small sample of those below. Our photographers will take photos of all the various combinations of family members that you want.
