The Soul Of Reesa & TerriLynn’s Wedding Ceremony:

The Art Of Surprise = Appreciation & Love

Reesa and TerriLynn love a good adventure. On one level, it’s about going new places and seeing new things, but on a deeper level it’s about the opportunity to have life-changing experiences with your partner who fits with you like a puzzle piece, and to take good care of each other along the way.

Their wedding passage journey brought focus to this aspect of their relationship. Their ceremony speaks to it too, with readings about soul mate connection, a blessing of the hands and vows that promise enduring commitment - the kind of love that not only loves when love is easy, but that loves when love is challenging too.

In their photo story below, we also learn the Art Of Surprise - a super cool practice that they return to regularly in their relationship. Come along for the adventure of appreciation and love that is Reesa & TerriLynn’s wedding ceremony…

Meet The Couple

Starting off with love letters in anticipation of the ceremony to come, then a stunning and romantic first look.

Ceremony Highlights

After their first look and quality time together, Reesa & TerriLynn walked each other down the aisle.

These two chose a reading that defines soul mate love as the kind of love where your locks fits each other’s keys and your keys fit each other’s locks, allowing our truest selves to step forward and be seen.

I got to share snippets of their life together, which is anchored in the shared commitment to live fully and completely, and to practice the Art Of Surprise - little sweet things that they do for each other to keep them in the mode of 100% appreciation. From everyday mundane surprises to surprise mini vacations. The Art Of Surprise even led to both surprising each other with rings and proposals at the same time!

It’s this mutually-fueled commitment to appreciation that keeps Reesa & TerriLynn’s relationship thriving and strong.

Keeping with the theme of surprise, some of Reesa & TerriLynn’s family members approached me right before the ceremony to tell me that they had a video of TerriLynn’s grandparents giving a message to them for their marriage to play during the ceremony. I vetted it out with Reesa & TerriLynn while still keeping the essence of it a surprise, and it was one of the poignant moments that really struck emotion.

Vows were repeat-after-me with a focus on the kind of love that loves no matter how easy or hard it is to love that person in any given moment.

A blessing of the hands had these two envision future moments that their hands will be connected as they travel life together. It was a beautiful way to send these two off on the journey…

Married!

Congratulations Reesa & TerriLynn!

May you have health, wealth, happiness and love. May you have countless more travel trips and adventures that remind you to always live life fully and really take it all in. May you continue to practice the “art of surprise” and delight one another with these beautiful little acts of love. May you make a point to treat each other with appreciation and respect as you journey life together, and in everything that you do. So much love, Lisa.
