Krista & John started their day at sunrise with an additional photo shoot at Lost Gulch Overlook with their adorable pup and endless-breathtaking-views. Then their ceremony at the amphitheater with a large group of family and friends, plus lots of guest participation in the ceremony, which evoked tears, laughter and so much connection for everyone.

They Brought Their Sweet Dog
You can bring your dog to both Sunrise Amphitheater and Lost Gulch as long as he or she is on a leash. It makes for great photos, and even more importantly, you get to have your beloved fur baby with you.
Full Processional
They had a full wedding party with them with bridesmaids, groomsmen, ring bearer and flower girl, and they used the main staircase for their processional rather than the side ramp or side trail into the amphitheater.
Guest Participation: Hand Fasting
I did a hand fasting for Krista & John and they chose to use several ribbons, which gave us the opportunity to call up several family members who brought each ribbon up one at a time, so it felt like the hand fasting was being facilitated not only by me, but also by their closest family.
Guest Participation: Wine Box
We also did a wine box ceremony where Krista & John placed their vows in a wine box along with a bottle of wine to start a tradition of drinking wine and re-reading their vows on every anniversary. One of their dads brought the wine box up for us.
Guest Participation: Rings
The cute little ring bearer nephew stood on stage for the entire ceremony and handed the rings to us when it was time.

As always, Sunrise Amphitheater is the perfect setting for tons of after-ceremony group photos. I included a small sample of those below. Our photographers will take photos of all the various combinations of family and friends that you want.
