We love this spot because you can reserve it for two hours as your own, plus it’s incredibly easy to get to. The adventure is simple - just a two-minute walk to get the site, then after your ceremony there’s time for photos with the mountain backdrop, then all sorts of rocky nooks and crannies and beautiful forest for romantic after-ceremony photos.

All The Deets
Availability: Accessible year-round.
Group Size: Just the two of you, or bring up to 40 guests with you.
The Drive: A 15-minute drive from downtown Boulder with a short section up the mountain on a well-paved road with beautiful views.
The Walk: It’s a simple two-minute walk/hike from parking lot to the spot. The dirt path is flat and graded, so you don’t even have to wear hiking shoes for this one.
Permit: You’ll pay the City of Boulder $106 for one hour at the Halfway House which is more than enough time to do your ceremony, then our team’s photo permit covers the rest of your time for photos in the surrounding area.
