So many unique and interesting choices that Karen & Daniel made for their day with a first look, a bubble tunnel, a first dance, a lasso ceremony and a big group of 25 guests to celebrate with them. Not only that, Karen had the most fabulous shoes - watch for them in the photos.

*Oh and it was one of my team officiants facilitating this one - meet Officiant Corin!

Their gallery shows what they chose to do at the amphitheater to spark ideas for your own day…

  • Sweet First Look

There’s a forest meadow spot near the amphitheater that’s great for a first look, so that’s how Karen & Daniel started just before their ceremony, then lots of photos to capture their connection and that first look glow.

  • Full Processional

There are three processional paths into the amphitheater and they chose the main staircase. Their processional had a traditional feel, with Daniel with his mom, then ring bearer and flower girl, then Karen with her father.

  • Classic Seating

They chose the standard setup at the amphitheater, with the two of them onstage for the ceremony and their guests seated on the built-in stone benches.

  • Lasso Ceremony

Our couples have a wide range of styles - from non-spiritual to spiritual-but-not-religious to religious. Karen & Daniel chose to have a traditional Catholic lasso ceremony, with their sisters bringing up a rosary made specially to place over the couple and symbolize their bond. It made the ceremony so special and is a great example of opportunities for meaningful guest participation.

  • They Wrote Their Own Vows

Karen & Daniel used my Vow Adventure Kit to write their own vows, then read them while symbolically connected with the lasso during the ceremony.

  • Sweet Ring Bearer Moment

Their ring bearer was the sweetest, and he brought the rings up in cool glass pyramid. A great example of how Sunrise Amphitheater is perfect for small weddings, while at the same time you can still have many of the little experiences that you have during a big wedding.

  • Bubble Tunnel

You can’t throw things at the end of the ceremony that would litter the amphitheater, so Karen & Daniel chose… bubbles! And not only that, a tunnel with their guests lined up on either side blowing bubbles. Super fun.

  • Romantic First Dance

These two choreographed a first dance and wowed everyone with it right after the ceremony and bubble tunnel.

  • Purple Wildflowers

In their “just-the-couple” photos at the end, they made the most of a meadow of purple wildflowers - one of the perks of Sunrise Amphitheater in the spring and sometimes as late as the summer.

  • Family Photos

As always, Sunrise Amphitheater is the perfect setting for tons of family photos. I included a small sample of those below. Our photographers will take photos of all the various combinations of family members that you want.

Note this is just a few of their photos - if you do a package with us, your gallery will have lots more!
