So often it’s the couple with close family members for a micro wedding at the amphitheater, so it was fun and different when Nicolle & Jeromy came with a big group of their friends. Their day was a cool combo of many of the elements of a traditional wedding, while at the same time relaxed with close friends and the amphitheater forest and mountain backdrop.

Getting Ready Photos
Every once in a while, we have an elopement or micro wedding couple choose to do getting-ready photos, and it’s particularly fitting when you have a big wedding party like Nicolle & Jeromy did. We did a whole photo shoot of them getting dressed with the help of their wedding party, writing love letters to one another and giving gifts to their bridesmaids and groomsmen.
Full Processional
They had a full-on traditional processional with each bridesmaid and groomsman walking on their own, plus Nicolle walking herself in. There are three processional entrances at the amphitheater and they chose the main staircase.
Wedding Party Onstage
Of their 12 guests, 8 of them were in the wedding party and they stood onstage like in a traditional wedding, with the other four guests seated to each side of the stage. So it was the most intimate kind of ceremony at the amphitheater where you have all guests onstage with you, and at the same time we had a few to cheer them on from the stone seating as well.
Simple, Intimate Ceremony
Sunrise Amphitheater is great for guest participation, and in this case it was the entire wedding party on stage. Nicolle & Jeromy chose to have a sweet ceremony that was beautiful in its simplicity.
They Wrote Their Vows From Scratch
They used my Vow Adventure Kit to help them write beautiful, heartfelt vows to read from cards during the ceremony.
Playful Group Photos
We always do tons of group photos after a ceremony at the amphitheater, and in this case it was a fun fest of friends, bright colors and playful antics!
