The Heart Of Seanín & Antonio’s Wedding Ceremony:

Celebrating True Love And A Blended Family

Seanín and Antonio met each other in a way that literally could have been a Hollywood movie. At a sunset pool party… on a beach… he asked her to go for a walk… they talked for hours and hours under the moon and stars, next to the crashing waves… in the blink of an eye, the sun was rising and both knew deeply in their souls that something life-changing had happened.

As I learned about them during their wedding passage, I saw how their relationship has continued in much the same way, but on a day-to-day level, finding magic in the way that they enrich each other’s lives. Seanín’s love for nature drew Antonio to move from Detroit to Colorado to be with her and her girls, where he discovered a whole new world of hiking and family time in the mountains. Antonio’s love for dancing and spontaneity has inspired Seanín to live more fully in the moment.

These two wanted a simple ceremony reflecting the joy in their connection, plus they also wanted Seanín’s daughters to play integral roles symbolizing their blended family. Enjoy our photo story below and see the ceremony elements that they picked to facilitate their meaningful, heartfelt day…

Meet The Couple

First let’s meet our couple and the girls who make them a family of four.

Setting The Scene

Now let’s set the scene at the always-beautiful and stunning Della Terra Mountain Chateau with its truly special Ponderosa Pine forests and quintessential mountain ceremony spot.

Ceremony Highlights

Seanín and Antonio intentionally chose to each walk in on their own, which highlighted even more for them that they would exit the ceremony as a team. Plus the girls were Maid Of Honor and Flower Girl.

It was an emotional moment as Seanín walked the pathway to join Antonio.

We had their guests participate in a community ring blessing - while the ceremony was taking place, they passed the rings from person to person, each silently saying a blessing, prayer or positive thought when the rings came to them.

I got to share about Seanín and Antonio’s spontaneous first “date” on the sunset beach, complete with the fact that Antonio happened to be in a full pirate costume at the time, even though the pool party was not a costume party ;)

The hand fasting ceremony was touching and sweet, with each of the girls placing three ribbons to tie in a knot around Seanín and Antonio’s clasped hands.

It was the perfect symbol that the four are now a family and a great way for the girls to actively facilitate the ceremony with us.

Seanín and Antonio made vows by repeating after me while their hands were fasted.

There was a great moment during the ring exchange when Antonio couldn’t help but grab for the ring while I was mid-sentence. It probably didn’t help that I was holding it right in front of his eyes lol. But nevertheless, he couldn’t wait to get that ring on Seanín’s finger!

The rings, a blessing, a romantic dance move and then…

Married!

Congratulations, Seanín & Antonio!

May you continue to balance one another and learn from one another, all while supporting each other in the sweet ways that you already do. May you travel, dance, cry and laugh together, and be blessed with the joy of watching your daughters grow to have full and satisfying lives. May you always come back to the qualities of growth, discovery and possibility in your relationship - the foundation upon which you started and the foundation that will carry you forward for years to come. So much love, Lisa.
